Wes Anderson + Your Invented Village

AT HOME ART DATE | read watch name + design

“That’s the kind of movie that I like to make, where there is an invented reality, and the audience is going to go someplace where hopefully they’ve never been before. The details, that’s what the world is made of.” -- Wes Anderson

Biography:

Wes Anderson is an American filmmaker whose films include a reoccurring cast of performers such as Luke Wilson, Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, and Jason Schwartzman. He’s renowned for films like The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, as well as Moonrise Kingdom and The Grand Budapest Hotel, which include eccentric, imperfect characters. Additionally, Anderson’s stop-motion animated features Fantastic Mr. Fox and Isle of Dogs were also commercial successes.
