WHATSAPP GUIDELINES:
Welcome to the community space for Artistic Clarity Students. I'm so glad you're here! It's perfectly natural to feel a little self-conscious about stepping into a new group, but remember—boundaries create the space for true intimacy and connection. Together, we'll honor these boundaries so that this becomes a safe, generous, and inspiring place for all of us.
This space is primarily for sharing your own experiences as you navigate the practices and curriculum of the courses. I'll be available here most days each week for office hours.
Please step into this circle with the assumption of solidarity and goodwill, and offer the same in return. Use gender-neutral pronouns unless you know someone's, and feel free to mute the group whenever you need a little breathing room.
To maintain our focus, this isn't a platform for promoting your own work (even if it's free), teaching practices outside the curriculum, or sharing personal stories in a way that could feel overwhelming or triggering to others (aka “trauma dumping’). And, to protect the energy we're building, please don't post while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
If a moment of hurt arises, we'll use the Oops & Ouch protocol. If something stings, say "ouch" and allow yourself the space to acknowledge your feelings. If you realize your words landed differently than intended, say "oops," apologize sincerely, and take the time to learn more so your understanding deepens. We all get it wrong sometimes, and here, that's not only allowed, it's expected.
For the practical side of things, please keep voice notes under two minutes so everyone can easily engage. Feel free to catch up at your own pace and ask questions, but take a moment first to see if your question has already been answered. You're warmly encouraged to respond to each other's posts, unless someone has specifically asked for a response from me. And if you'd like me to answer something directly, you can say so.
Above all, let this be a space where curiosity, kindness, and clarity thrive. I'm thrilled to share this path with you, and I look forward to seeing how each of you discovers your voice and confidence here.
